Forensic & Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist

Summary of Position: Primary responsibilities include the delivery of individual, group and family therapy to juvenile and adult sexual offenders in out-patient mental health setting in Easton, Maryland. This position falls under the direct supervision of the Mid-Shore Programs Director and the general supervision of Dr. Kathy Seifert: ESPS founder and CEO.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate care with parole and probation officers.
  2. Develop and implement individual treatment plans.
  3. Maintain documentation in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and ESPS clinical standards.
  4. Participate in weekly multidisciplinary treatment team.
  5. Provide on-call services as scheduled.
  6. Identify and refer clients to in-house psychiatric, rehabilitation and intensive outpatient services.
  7. Responsible for maintaining assigned productivity standards.

Qualifications:

  • LGSW required; LCSW-C or LCPC preferred.
  • Significant training and clinical experience working with forensic population and sexual offenders in particular.
  • Knowledge and commitment to forensic best practices and The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers Professional Code of Ethics.
  • Documentation of Maryland licensure and malpractice insurance; and compliance with security clearance required prior to start.
  • Willingness to continue education on latest developments in clinical intervention with SO population.

Family Advocate

Exciting full-time opportunity to join a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program as a Family Advocate with one of the Eastern Shore’s leading mental health organizations. Position involves helping children, adolescent and adult clients realize their mental health goals through involvement in a variety of socialization activities. Work closely with interdisciplinary team to actualize treatment goals and when necessary respond to client in crisis. Access appropriate community resources. Must be comfortable making home visits to meet with families and transporting clients in your vehicle. Previous experience working with children, families and/or adults living with emotional disturbance and mental illness required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Clean driving record and ability to work a flexible schedule required. This is an excellent opportunity to further your professional experience in human services as you pursue graduate study.

Summary of Position:  Is responsible for the delivery of individual, family, and group therapy services to children, youth and adults in Easton, MD based out-patient mental health clinic. This position falls under the direct supervision of the Program Director and the general supervision of the ESPS Clinical Director.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement individual treatment plans for caseload clients.

  2. Maintain documentation in client records in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and ESPS clinical standards.

  3. Participate in treatment team and other meetings as scheduled.

  4. Provide on-call services as scheduled.

  5. For assigned patients that are also receiving PRP or IOP Services the Primary Therapist will provide:

    1. Consultation with Family Advocates in the development of IRPs that coordinate with Individual Treatment Plans.

    2. Individual and family therapy as indicated

    3. Participate in weekly clinical meetings with family advocates and IOP staff as indicated/ requested

  6. Responsible for maintaining assigned productivity standards.

  7. Completes other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

·        Licensed Mental Health Professional: LGSW required; LCSW-C or LCPC preferred.

·        Clinical experience with children, youth and families preferred.

·        Must comply with security clearance protocol.

·        Documentation of licensure and malpractice insurance required prior to start.

School- Based Therapist

Responsibilities:

  2. Maintain documentation in client records in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and ESPS clinical standards.

  3. Participate in clinical team meetings and other meetings as scheduled.

  4. Provide on-call services as scheduled.
